With an iron paw in a velvet glove, our Queen Bee rules the roost. Her hypnotic eyes convey her every emotion, and the merest lift of an aristocratic brow sends her serfs rushing to fulfill her every need.
The most tightly wound around her royal toe is Simon, who has been heard to apologise profusely for failing to give her a timely good-morning kiss … and on family outings, pours her water before his wife’s.
She does not believe in unwarranted exercise, and looks upon her lure-coursing relatives as if they have lost their minds. And as for Simon and Bash’s games of fetch… well, one is almost embarrassed for them.
Kora’s interests lie in more genteel pursuits such as Showing, FitPaws, Trick Training, and demonstrating the ladylike speed at which agility obstacles should be negotiated in order to maintain poise and refinement without sacrificing technique.
She is a gifted classical singer.
She detests dampness, and insists all members of the household dry their hair thoroughly after bathing, or she will be forced to do it for them. She does not step in puddles. She possesses an extensive wardrobe to combat the Victorian cold, and expects prompt assistance in the middle of the night should her blankie fall into disarray. Her personal therapy cat, Bing, also may be called into service as a heated pillow.
As is to be expected amongst Royalty, Kora finds it distasteful when members of the public attempt to encroach upon her private life at home… and yet, when on tour and appearing at social functions, she is a gracious, convivial Ambassador for her breed.
Kora achieved the title of Australian Champion in April 2022, and we couldn’t be more proud!
